1972 Triumph TR-6 Additional Info:

Ok there is a pause in the virus action so let's get on with life.
Come on, you have always wanted a Triumph!
This one is low hassle, doesn't leak oil, starts every time, runs cool in the middle of Texas summers, has excellent oil pressure at all times, reliable-I know none of this seems real for a British car in Texas; but, it is true
I didn't believe the gauges so I bought a thermal gauge and shot the radiator, engine, oil cooler-the gauges are true. I didn't believe the oil pressure either, so I bought a an external gauge from NAPA, same thing, verified the gauge readings. So, I have been driving around hassle free for the past few years and it is just time to move on.
This is a very unique TR6 as it has a surrey top. This is a very rare feature on any Triumph. The fixed back glass minimizes all the wind typical of convertibles and can be taken off if that is your desire. It also has overdrive to go along with the smooth shifting transmission.
The car is 45 yrs old so if you look for flaws you will find them- a few chips in the paint, some pitting of chrome.
Reason for selling-none, just time to move on to the next classic
This will be a cash only sale. Personal inspection encouraged. Located in Spicewood, Tx near Austin
