1973 Triumph Other Deluxe Additional Info:

Up for sale isa1973 Triumph Stag. This is similar to a barn find, but actually was a "carport find", in that it has been under the carport for the past 8 years. The owner passed in 2010 and according to neighbors and relatives, he was driving it then, and that was the last time it was driven. The registration and state inspection stickers are all from 2010, thus supporting their claim. All I have done was to air up the tires (99% tread left), load on trailer, wash exterior and engine, vac and clean interior, and then take some photos.

I am not a mechanic, and I have not attempted to start this vehicle, so I wouldn't know where to begin on determining what might need to be done.

I understand that draining the fuel and changing all the liquids, oil included, are what's to be done when a vehicle has been sitting for any length of time (8 years in this case). I believe some rodents may have made a home in the engine, on top of the valve covers and by the battery box. The distributor cables look to have been chewed on (see images). I pulled out most of what looks like the varmint's nest from the top of the valve covers and battery box area. My boy wants to keep it, but I'm hoping some kind buyer out there will help me out! :-) It is a 2 door hardtop convertible.

The interior and exterior look to be in good or better condition. The interior has one small tear in the headliner, plus a place on the rear seat top, where vinyl is cracked some (see images). The carpet is in very good condition. Very little to no rust on exterior, that I was able to see. Glass is all good, cleaned up well. Dash and control panel look good (see images). It is new in box. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

I ask for a $500 deposit at close of auction, with balance to be paid within a few days.

Priced to sale!
