1965 Triumph TR4 TR4 Roadster Additional Info:

**PLEASE SCROLL DOWN THE AD LISTING PAGE TO VIEW A COMPLETE SET OF DETAILED PHOTOS OF THE VEHICLE**Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this super attractive Triumph TR-4, one of Italian designer Michelotti's masterpieces. This car was recently purchased from an Attorney in Virginia who took extremely good care of it and had his fastidious British mechanic attend to any of it's needs. As a result, this is the best driving TR-4 we have had the pleasure of offering. Mechanically, it can only be described as fantastic. At some point in it's recent life, this car received an easy cosmetic restoration including a repaint, retrim, and engine compartment detailing. The bodywork on the car is excellent, showing no signs ever of any damage, per-factory shutlines, and perfectly shaped wheelarches ( the most vulnerable part of a TR-4 body). The paintwork appears to be the factory color of Spa White, a cleaner and brighter shade over the Old English White. The paintwork is holding up very well with an excellent gloss/shine. There are a few minor blemishes pictured. Along with the car's exterior, the engine compartment was resprayed to match and presents very nicely. The car's chromework is mostly original items with a new front bumper. The front grille is original and excellent. The rear bumper and door handles are showing some age. The windshield is good with a newer rubber gasket. The door glass are original and in good shape, along with new outer scraper rubber, inner fuzzys, and main door seals. The interior trim is very good to excellent condition overall with a replaced top pad and wood dash facia. The red seats are comfortable, the charcoal gray loop carpet kit looks good along with the panel kit. The car is fitted with black 2-point lap seat belts. The white softtop is in very good condition with a nice plastic window, but could use a professional clean. The black Everflex tonneau is nice and looks the part when fitted to the car.The car's underside looks great with solid floors, inner rockers, and a straight frame. There is evidence of lots of mechanical maintenance and new parts installed such as brake items, suspension bushes, a quiet exhaust system, engine mounts, hoses, rebuilt Stromberg carbs, etc. The car's engine starts quickly and easily on the button with it's high torque starter, has excellent oil pressure to 70lbs, runs quiet and cool with no smoke or noises, and exhibits perfect behavior. The 4-speed gearbox is a delight to use up shifting or down shifting with it's light and crisp action. Clutch and brakes are super. Suspension is solid and quiet, and the car rolls smoothly on it's expensive and attractive chrome wire wheel/tire set.Overall, one would be hard pressed to find a better driving example than this one. This desirable, attractive, and Italian-styled TR-4 Convertible offers an excellent, ready-to-enjoy 60's sportscar. It must be good value in today's market.
