1973 Triumph Other Additional Info:

For auction is a daily driver Stag with some modifications. This is the last of dads British car project/driver cars: he was much better at this sort of car thing, he was the second owner. The manuals and paperwork from the original owner comes with the car. It was originally purchased in GA. This has been a lot of fun to drive as I have played with it during this Summer; but its out of my 'wheel house' of expertise. The Vin number isLE24011U0, I've posted it in several placed so you can know the car.
The bad: There is two rust spots, not the pics of the left front fender and the right rear wing in front of the wheel. The rest of the car body is really rust free and the is the normal light surface under the car. looks to have been undercoated years ago, does not photograph well tho. The black soft top is dried out and cracked up, the frame does go up and down.
The good: Fires right up and drives well. Stops well. Lights and signals work. Heat works. Carbs were rebuilt this year by local British car mechanic, has gear reduction starter. With some research...this is an AC car (no Compressor tho). Over drive switch works on the 3rd and 4th gear as it should. Manual transmission with overdrive works great.
The custom bits: Met with a friend that pointed out the mods 1. The custom tow bar that pulled a little feather craft boat 12'. 3. The lithium race battery, that can be removed with out removing the power steering pump. 4. Dual temp gauges, one for each head, the clock was replaced with the second temp gauge. 5. Electric variety oil pressure gauge, installed where the AC vent was and now it points down. 6. The custom removable OEM window frames. In the the pics they are removed. I have additional pics with them installed. They are neat cause you can remove them with the hardtop for a much cleaner look. 7. Knock off Mini lite Wheels. I have received a lot of questions to buy custom parts off the stag, I prefer to sell the car complete and would consider an offer with all of the extra bits.
No reserve. Respectable Offers are always welcome, as the stag is also available locally.
Plenty of spare parts available too...will be listing these in other auctions.
