**PLEASE SCROLL DOWN THE AD LISTING PAGE TO VIEW A COMPLETE SET OF DETAILED PHOTOS OF THE VEHICLE**Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this extremely well-preserved TR4 with only one repaint/retrim. This car was recently purchased out of a Northern California garage. Quite simply, this is one of the best TR4's we've seen for easy restoration in quite some time, with the car having never been apart. The body is nearly perfect with no rust or accidents, save for a small dent in the driver's door. The panel gaps are per factory. All of the panels open and shut with that factory sound. The front and rear valances are near perfect. The car's underside frame and body looks entirely solid with perfect inner and outer rockers, bottoms of fenders, floors, trunk, etc. The chassis has that nice "dusting" of preserving road dirt. The car's original brightwork is mostly very nice, possibly being simply cleaned and going back onto a freshly painted car. The original grille is excellent and the fit is beautiful. Items like the original front medallion and lettering all appear real nice. A simple stripdown could then be followed by straightforward body and paint on this straight, perfectly-gapped body by any competent paintshop. The previous owner tackled some very worthwhile projects first that included a new wooden dashboard, with new top pad and crash pads. The original Stromberg sidedraft carburetors appear to be freshly rebuilt. There appears to be some additional mechanical freshening to get the car into running and driving condition. The correctly sequenced numbered engine turns over nicely on its fresh battery with good oil pressure. A fuel delivery issue is currently being diagnosed and we should have the engine running well shortly. The previous owner was driving the car only a few years back. The brakes and clutch appear a little sticky and most likely just need some use/exercising. Newer master cylinders have been fitted. The car includes an older soft top in decent shape, a quality everflex black tonneau needing some zipper repair, jack and handle, repair books, spare tire. This highly preserved original car has been stored away for years in a private garage. It is quite possibly the best and most honest candidate, for very easy restoration, on today's market. It could be easily made into a good driver and used right away, while one takes his time with simple cosmetic improvements.
