1982 Toyota 4WD Pickup Truck, Long Bed, SR5 (5 speed) rareSahara Edition3/4 Ton. Orig Color, Original Calif truck with original Blue Lic. plates. 2 owners, 1st owner (a San Diego Fire Captain) owned for 22 years and was garaged kept during that time. In San Diego all its life, Never used as a work truck, and had a Shell on it for 27 years protecting the bed. 177k. original miles, repainted the original color with original paint still in door jams. Everything other than paint is Original and box stock as ordered from Toyota in Dec 1981 with Aluminum center line rims made in USA. Items replaced within the last 5 years include: radiator, all cooling hoses, water pump, clutch, clutch cylinders, brakes, Battery, belts, tuneup, alternator, muffler, recent Calif smog and tags, with new Yokohama tires, and many other items.
This truck is a great original survivor, Not restored, but still a solid straight Calif body with no major rust or body fillers. No dents, engine runs very nice with xint compression and recently passed the Ca smog test. The 4WD works smooth and easy as well. It does have an after market rear tow bumper heavy duty and made in USA that was put on the truck in the 1980's. Very dependable with all gauges working, engine temp, RPM, battery, oil presser, all working. Heater, lights, power steering, horn, wipers, washer, all in good working order. Comes with orig key and a newer replacement key for the ignition. Has its orig jack, wheel wrench, jack handle, and spare rim and tire. And another very nice thing (one of myfavorites) the truck was never smoked in and still has the original lighter that works.
Items that still could berepaired include: The passenger seat has a large rip on the left side (does not stand out),Original carpet is still good but needs to be cleaned, drivers side door panel could be replaced or repaired, dash has some small crack area, no radio, never had A/C, a little slack in the shifting knob but not a problem. The paint job was a straight paint job with no body work at all, it cost $1,000. The truck runs and drives nice. This is a 34.5 year old truck orig not restored, and not a show car. However it is a rare special truck. Have Clean Ca Title in my name, comes with 2 sets of keys, located in Southern Calif. You are welcome to see and drive the truck before purchase.
