PZJ77 5 CYLINDER DIESEL TOYOTA LAND CRUISER

This Vehicle has a non-standard VIN because it was imported from Japan.

The actual VIN is PZJ770001656.

This is not a "Prado". This is a real 77 seriesToyota common rail diesel Land Cruiser, nd the 5 door option is very rare! As far as I know, his is thevery first PZJ77 Land Cruiser to be imported and licensed in the US.The PZJ77 and HZJ77 model Land Cruisersare a real challenge to find ingood condition, ecause they're usually thrashed and have half a million miles on them if you can even find them. This one is a very nice survivor and I'm quite proud of it, s I know the next owner will be as well!The motor starts right away every morning with no issues. The super glow system works great! The Transmission shifts smoothly through all 5 gears as well as reverse. The 4X4 (Hi and Low)with LSD climbs hills as it should. The previous owner spent a fortuneon maintenance and necessary repairs and the truck is very well cared for. As with every truck I import,I brought all maintenance up to date and field tested this vehicle extensively.As with most of the diesel cruisers I import, t is a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) Land Cruiser, o the speedometer is in kilometers and the steering wheel is on the right side of the car. Good luck finding one with Left Had Drive in this condition.This truck is amazing off road and on the highway! The 1PZ engine is identical to the 1HZ with the exception of one less cylinder. Parts for this engine are not an issue as the 1PZ and 1HZ were both used in the mining industry righthere in North America. How difficult is it to get parts?

  • Not difficult! Every mechanism on this truck is rebuildable, he fuel pump, he injectors, tarter, lternator, otor, ranny, tc. can all be rebuilt by any one who's handy and if they're beyond the point of repair, he vast majority of parts found on these vehicles can cross over from another Toyota gas vehicle manufactured for the US market. The consumable parts such as clutch, ilters, rake pads, low plugs, tc. can all be found at any local auto parts store. I will show you how to get the part numbers.
