Land Cruiser Nationis selling this 1983 FJ40 for the owner.This Mustard 1972 FJ40 was a "Father and Son" project. They were the second owners and purchased the truck around1994. The original owner was a Rapides Parish, A Sheriff who lived on a farm outside of Alexandria, A. According tohim, e used the truck solely as a farm vehicle. The odometer reads 46,000 miles on it, hough the odometer cable wasbroken when they purchased it. Therefore, e can’t say exactly how many miles are on the truck, ut still believe it to beLOW. This FJ40 reportedly runs like a dream however the body needed work. The body work was done between 1994 and2000. The inside has been sprayed with Rhino liner. The top is original and has never been taken off. It doesn’t leak!Around 2010, paint company that specializes in recreating factory paint, roduce some of the original Toyota “Mustard”using the correct codes. It is painted with single stage paint, ust like the original. Again, ork done in late 2010 or early2011. Current owners have put less than 1000 additional miles on it. Although it could be a daily driver, as been drivensparingly.

The carburetor has been replaced with an OEM factory Non-US carburetor. Therefore, he Smog control has beendisabled. She has an newer starter, istributer, nd fuel filter plus Jacobs electronic timing and ignition. Everything elseunder the hood is OEM. Master cylinder and slave has been replaced, s well as the exhaust manifold with OEM parts.

New brakes, ew shocks, ew Reverse-shackle suspension, EM PTO winch!

All seats are OEM, ut have been recovered. New foam added to drivers seat.

Added KC fog lights. All glass is good, ires are excellent! Front tow bar and a high lift jack come with truck as well as a full-size, ew spare tire.

There is no spare tire carrier in the truck however it can be added. Bolt holes were filled in during body work anticipating anafter market carrier may be added. Rear heater has been removed and front heater is not currently connected. Cigarettelighter is missing however the socket has power. Undercarriage is typical, ould be cleaned and sprayed with rustprevention. Minor paint blemishes in places. Interior trim paint remains original. Body mounts are original and could usereplacement.
