Up for auction is an absolutely immaculate 1991 Toyota 4runner SR5 4x4. This is a true one owner vehicle and has been extensively cared for since new. This 4runner sold new at Abajian Toyota of Walla Walla, Washington and remained in the area its entire life. Walla Walla is a particularly dry region of South East Washington, and because of this, this 4runner is completely rust free. This 4runner is in all original, unmolested condition and shows like a brand new car. It is equipped with almost everyfactory option available for the year including power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power antenna, sunroof, A/C, cruise control, rear climate control and tilt wheel. All of the power options are in working order.
The interior of this 4runner is in excellentcondition. The dash is free of any cracking in the dash pad orplastic pieces and has not faded or become discolored from the sun. All of the gauges work and are in excellent condition. The steering wheel had been covered since new and is virtually perfect with zero wear or discoloration. Thecarpets are like new aside from a small area of wear in the passenger front footwell near the transmission tunnel and are not faded or stained anywhere. The driver's seat has typical wear on the outer seat bolsters, but the passenger seat and rear seat appear like new. There is a light colored stain on the back of the folding rear seat as pictured. The headliner is flawless and has not began to sag anywhere throughout the entire cab. The sunroof works as it should and does not leak. The factory AM/FM/Cassette radio remains in the truck and sounds great. All of the factory original Toyota door glass remains in the truck with the original safety decals.
The exterior of this 4runner is absolutely beautiful.The paint is 100% original and does not have one trace of any fading orpeeling and has an incredibly deep shine. The original grey vinyl graphic is in excellent condition and is not sun faded or cracked as many become over the years. The hood has several road chips as to beexpected for a vehicle of this age, but they have been touched up with factory color matched touchup paint. The door jambs are beautiful and every panel of the car has the factory Toyota vin stickers in place. The body isextremely straight and all 4 doors, the hood and tailgate open and close like a new car. The bodygaps are all very even andsymmetrical. This 4runner has one small ding above the door handle on the passenger rear door, a ding on the back of the cargo area near the rear window, and a few minor dings in the bottom of the tailgate as pictured. The body is laser straight otherwise. The sheet metal valance beneath the front bumper does have a few very common dings. The undercarriage of this truck is very clean and solid with only minorsurface rust on the frame and suspension components. There are still factory chalk markings on various pieces of the drivetrain underneath. The engine compartment is incredibly clean and all of the factory Toyota decals are in place along with the hood liner.
This 4runner runs and drives as well as it looks. The 3.0 V6 is very healthy and hasplenty of power. The oil pressure is fantastic and the engine temperature is always at the mid range of the gauge. The automatic overdrive transmission shifts smoothly. The transfer caseengagesin allpositions. The timing belt was replaced at 124,000 miles per the maintenance sticker under the hood. The two front tires are brand new Hankook All Terrains. The rear tires are Bridgestone All Terrains with several thousand miles of life left. All four tires are the same size. This 4runner is truly a beauty and has been well cared for since new.
All of the original owner's manuals and pamphlets remain with the truck along with the original dealer license plate frame, two original Toyota keys and the original dealer maintenance vin tag booklet. The original title from 1991 still remains as well. Without exaggeration, I can truly say that this is the cleanest, most original 4runner I have ever seen from this era and it will not disappoint.
