If you do not know what this vehicle is please do some personal research before enquiring. I imported this Cresta from Japan back in January of this year. I have put roughly 3,000 miles on her since then and garaged in between miles. She is a real time capsule. These vehicles are generally heavily molested for the race and drift scene before import to the sates. This particular example is 100% original with dealership upgrade BBS wheels with BBS Toyota center caps. The vehicle has seat covers and they were installed and have remained on the car since the beginning of February ( I removed them for auction and sale photos), the plastics on the door cards and visors have been removed, the car has been cleaned regularly and appropriately, the hood release latch was non functioning but has since been fixed. The A/C system was not charged upon import but has since been professionally purged and recharged with freeze 12 and is in perfect working order. This Cresta has properly functioning cruise control and keyless entry, both of which are difficult to find on these chassis let alone in working order. Also, I had a few tech friends at LHM Lexus do a mechanical inspection just for kicks. All seals, fluids and bushings look great. The last Japanese mechanical inspection or “shaken” was in November 2017 prior to export. A few other features include, power windows and locks, automatic lights, glass head light lenses, built in fogs, power mirrors, heated mirrors, digital dash, working CD player (also rare, small crackle from front passenger speaker, but again, almost 30), power lumbar in driver seat.
Some things to note. She is missing the driver side floor mat and a dash panel cover to the left of the steering wheel (fairly common for odd pieces to be taken before making it made its way to the auction block), The shifter position cover has some bubbling and the small LCD screen for the stereo has leaked and is unreadable, both of which from age.
I also ran a carvx.jp car history report. Photos of the report are included.
All and all a beautiful piece of Toyota design and performance history. She is an absolute joy to drive and would make a great show car, Sunday driver or even daily and with very very little work this could become a true collector.
Thanks for looking!!!
