Listed for your driving pleasure is an absolute mint 2nd Generation Toyota Supra MK2.
This Black Beauty with grey leather interior features a professionally fitted Kaminari body kit that took over 200 hrs to fit and finish to the original body panels. While the car had very little to no rust, theprevious owner was a Toyota body/paint technician and took the car through a complete restoration that included the following; refinished and custom painted wheels, lowering springs, OEM shocks, cross drilled brakes, Cusco struts front and rear, Cusco sway bars front and rear, body kit, new OEM exterior moldings and wipers. The car is fully loaded and everything works as it should, but unfortunately the A/C needs a recharge.
Over 400 hrs wentinto preparing this car for one of the deepest black paint jobs I’ve ever seen. The fit and finish of the body kit is nothing less than perfect to the point you cannot even run and catch a fingernail in the transition of the body kit to the body. As you will see from the pictures taken, the paint reflects an amazing shine at all angles.
In addition to the complete shell restoration, the following tasteful mods were added to the car over the last 3 yrs; Raptor Racing S3 V2 short shifter ($330us), new OEM shift knob ($120us) and leather boot ($60), window re-tint, Raptor Racing Intake Pipe ($180us), Raptor Racing Greddy Custom Header ($1250us), and Raptor Racing Stealth Exhaust including high flow ceramic cat ($1075us).
In 2016, a custom stereo was installed strategically as to keep the original stock look of the interior, including new speakers all around, a kicker removable sub, a well-hidden amp, as well a mech-less deck installed in the glove box, including remote.
Now, for the crown jewel of this car, the original engine was replaced in late 2016 with a completely refreshed 6MGEengine ($3800us)originally only available in Japan. According to several websites, the 6M produced stock 170 HP vs the original 145 HP from the stock 5MGE. Add to this the addition of the intake pipe, header and stealth exhaust, and you are pushing close to 190 HP. New water pump and timing belt also installed at the time of the install.
Mileage on the car is 177,000km or 109,000 miles. Re-built 6M Engine has less than 300 miles.
The exterior of the car is extremely clean with no signs of rust, all moldings are straight and in excellent condition with no fading, the windshield is free of chips or cracks and all trim looks like new.
The interior of the car shows extremely well other than a little wear including the steering wheel, and the front seats, but has no rips in the leather. It also has the rare to find Digital Dash.
Appraised in 2015 at $18,000 CDN, and rated as a "Hagerty Vehicle Condition #2 Excellent" with an average current value of $16,600. And all this was before the rebuilt 6M was installed in late 2016.
