FOR SALE: 1974 Toyota Celica.
It is time to part with my Toyota Celica. I have owned and enjoyed this car for 3 decades now. It is in excellent condition for its age. It is a driver and yet still looks good in a car show.The drivetrain consists of the ever reliable JDM spec.Toyota 18RG double overhead cam engine. TRD style header. twin side draft Mikuni 44 carburetors, 5 speed manual transmission. 4:10 geared rearend. Everything works all lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, instruments, heater, defroster, radio, locks, gas cap lock etc. No issues no surprises.The interior is in exceptional condition and the pictures speak for themselves as the car is always garaged and never driven in inclement weather.I just imported from Japan a new heater core and valve which have been installed so the heater and defroster work very well. Has an AM/FM radio with old school Kenwood speakers.I took the car to JCCS in Long Beach California and Japanese Nostalgic Car did a short write up on it. The car will come with both sets of wheels and tires. The ones on it now are Colin Star Sharks 14x7 rear and 14x6.5 front with new 195/60/14 tires all around no rubbing at all. Also included at factory GT wheels which I had widened to 13x7 all around with new 205/60/13 tires again no rubbing complete with center caps and trim rings. It has a white line rear bar as well as adjustable coil overs and strut tower bar up front.These old school Celica's are virtually impossible to find today in any condition let alone sorted as my car is. The car has the 71-72 long style hood flutes,flat light tail lights and gas door, small turn signals which are personal touches that I added for a cleaner look. This car can not be built for what I am selling it for.The car will remain with me until it is paid for in cash or bank wire transfer. No pay pal. Title and car will be released to buyer once payment is cleared. I will store the car for up to 14 days inside my garage so you can make and pay for your shipping. The personalized license plates will remain with me. The car is sold as is where is with no warranty expressed, written or implied. No trades!
