1993 Toyota T100 DX Additional Info:
I'm selling my long owned and well maintained work truck. I'm the third owner of this 1993 Toyota T100 DX. I bought it from a friend in 2001, when it had 131,447 miles. He bought it from the original owner in 1996, when it had 30,000+ miles. It's had Mobil 1 since its first oil change in 1993, and has Mobil 1 gear oil in both the transmission and the rear axle. It drives straight and true, with tight steering and suspension, and zero rattles. It shifts like a new truck, with a recently installed shifter seat (33505-35020) and shifter end bushing (33548-31010). The improved clutch pedal bracket from Toyota (55107-34030) has also been recently installed. It was Ziebart rustproofed twice, in 1993 and in 2001, and has had several annual inspections and resprays at Ziebart. It has had the head gaskets replaced under a Toyota recall program, back in 1998, with zero issues before or since. The timing belt was replaced, using genuine Toyota parts, in 2010. The front brake pads are O'Rielly lifetime items, and the receipt is included. The wheels are from a Toyota Tacoma, and carry slightly oversized Cooper tires, with around 8,000 miles on them. The tread is excellent. The spare is the original Bridgestone. I installed a rare dealer optional in-dash Toyota AM-FM stereo / CD player, with removable face plate. It works perfectly with the rare factory installed subwoofer. Other factory options on this truck were the Convenience Package (tilt wheel, sliding rear window, full gauges, intermittent wipers), 235/75R15 tire size upgrade, Chrome Package (front bumper / grill, exterior trim), Air Conditioner (blows cold with factory 134A), Chrome Bumper (rear), and Floor Mats. There is also a heavy duty plastic bedliner. The exhaust system (cat back) was replaced recently with a one piece factory style unit, and is as quiet as the original (no longer available from Toyota).
That's the good.
Here is the bad: The edge of the front seat is worn through in one spot, around an inch long. There is rust beginning to show, with paint bubbling around the rear wheel openings, and a couple of spots on the inner door sills (no holes). The paint is 90% original, and it shows it, with many small scratches and signs of 24 years of use. That being said, it still shines up well, and looks great from 10 feet or so.
This is a full sized truck, able to carry 4' x 8' sheets between the wheel wells, with the tailgate closed. EPA mileage rating is 16 MPG city / 21 MPG highway, which I have found to be pretty accurate. This is the most dependable vehicle I have ever owned, so it's easy to understand why I see them offered for sale with over 400,000 miles on them. At 193,000+, this one is just broken in, lol.
If you need a totally reliable, well maintained, adult owned (I'm 59) truck, you can't go wrong with this one.
I have a few more pictures. Message me for those, or to request pictures of specific views you wish to see.
I am 15-20 minutes from the MSP airport, which is about a $20 Uber or Lyft ride.
Also for sale on Minneapolis Craigslist, so auction may be ended early if sold locally.
Made in Japan, not Mexico!
