1989 celica GT coupe,blue, 185,000 orginal miles. has been sitting a couple years due to blown motor/knocking /pinging..... has front crankshaft oil leak.body has usual rust on bottom panels behind doors, has a dent on passenger side front fender. this car can either be used as a "parts" car or a "project" car... there are still a lot of good parts such as the tires are in good shape, interior in great shape,has a cd player (alpine).... everything is intact except for the battery.no broken glass or water or fire damage.... will require brake work,power steering pump (leaks) radiator(leaks) transmission is ok.(automatic) has spare tire in trunk w/ jack. will need exhaust pipe and muffler, catalytic converter still intact. today I washed the body, removed all the dirt and mildew,also vacuumed the interior. just before this car sat it had a new alternator installed and a couple years before that a new starter motor. last time it was serviced I recall the mechanic saying I would need new drive axels and c.v. joints in the future...a friend of mine put new front brakes on about 5-6 years ago.i did notice there was a little water inside the trunk, this was due to when I r&r the hydrulich shocks for the trunk they were not centerered when put in and caused a small gap in the seems where the trunk shuts down.
