1977 Toyota Celica ST Additional Info:

Very clean 40-year-old classic with 220,000 miles (i.e., 5,500 miles per year). Second owner but my beloved first car! Manufactured in April 1977. Bought used at ~4 years old with 31,612 miles and meticulously cared for. Specifications: 2189 cc SOHC 20R engine (original stock) rated at 95 horsepower with tight compression in all four cylinders, 2-barrel carburetor (replaced April 2016 at 214,200 miles), 4-speed synchronized manual transmission (original), straight-piped exhaust and stripped "clean" emission-control equipment (i.e., no catalytic converter and no emission-control junk), power front disc brakes, transistorized ignition, wall-to-wall cut-pile carpet (original and in very good shape), high-back dual reclining front bucket seats with sheepskin seat covers, color-keyed vinyl interior (a bit torn in the back seat and worn on the upper interior window sills), tachometer, clock, and instrumentation (all original and fully operational); after-market Alpine AM/FM radio, casette deck, and single-disc CD player; wood-grain dash and full console; wood-grain steering wheel (original) and shifter (Toyota high-end after market); tinted glass and day/night mirror; resettable trip meter; power-boosted flow-through ventilation; front and rear bumper guards; chrome front and rear bumpers in very good shape; air conditioner removed to boost horsepower; modified for 215 60 SR14 custom tires on all four wheels; B.F. Goodrich Radial T/As with raised white letters installed new July 2014 at 212,700 miles; original stock "Beige" body paint in good shape; body has some rust around wheel wells and locally on rocker panels. Comes with full service records, original window sticker, original owner's manual, and original full-sized spare tire/wheel. Kept in garage except for short commutes (~6 miles per day) between home and work and never driven during winter months. Must see and test drive it to fully appreciate it!
