1976 Toyota Land Cruiser Luxury Restomod Additional Info:

This is a professionally built 1976 Toyota Fj40 with clean heritage and no reasonable expense spared. It is being listed by the builder (Rudy of Rudy's CJs) for the private collector who had it built and is ready for his next toy. This FJ was fair weather used just enough to be broken in at about 4000 miles in 4 years.
Clean Heritage: I bought this for myself from the favorable climate of Glendora California about 4 years ago. I am a professional buyer and have had some of the cleanest sheet metal classic Jeeps in the world. This FJ was in faded original paint when I got it with no bubbling rust. It was not the typical rusty piece of junk FJ. Original ugly faded paint never lies.
Documented photo build w step by step explanation with each phase of the extensive 6 month process: atRudys CJs Rot Free 1976 FJ40 build
This machine was built with over 150 photos showing it in original paint and every step along the way to the point you see it today. A wise buyer knows that shiny paint can be a bad girdle over excessive bodywork. The only way to buy something as rust prone as an FJ is to see it BEFORE the paint goes on.
Receipts: There is a stack of all user manuals, cost receipts, and all components used on this machine over 1,5" tall so this can be maintained after purchase.
Actual use: This machine was actually driven and improved upon with about 4000 miles by an owner used to AMGs and BMWs. It is road ready and road proven without being abused or hardly worn. The tires still have the nubs in the tread. Initially we used the near new suspension and existing transmission with proved to be not luxury FJ worthy. The machine was professionally upfitted with an NV4500 manual transmission with overdrive. It also got a plush top of the line Old Man EMU suspension with greasable shackles.
I believe once the machine was near perfected, the challenge of the build was gone and he is on to the next dream. Discipline and common sense knows that an unused machine goes bad so this is your opportunity to own this without the full expense and time to build it.
