1986 Suzuki Samurai JX Additional Info:

For sale 1986 Suzuki Samurai JX. I have owned this capable little off roader for nearly a decade, it has a clean Nevada title in my name. I’ve lost interest, or better stated, shifted my interest elsewhere. This is a JX, factory tach and sweet digital clock. The 5 digit odometer show 71605. I’ve put approximately 2500 miles on the new motor. This is not a perfect finished product.

List of new, replaced items since March of 2017, I’m sure there is more that I can’t recall.

SammyPro engine, see specs attached

Weber carburetor

Stainless header

Magna flow complete stainless exhaust

Aluminum radiator, Electric fan with shroud

Electric fuel pump with regulator

Clutch, throwout bearing, pressure plate

Starter, Alternator, Optima red top battery

Master cylinder

Glass headlight housing with replaceable h4 halogen bulbs

Tires, went with Cooper ATs, good compromise for me, handles much better

The transmission is a manual. It is currently registered in Nevada as a classic vehicle and smog exempt. I do have a catalytic converter, you’ll need to take it to a muffler shop to have it installed. The Calmini suspension was new when I bought it.

The smittybuilt off-road suspension seats are very comfortable, although the covers need to be replaced sooner rather than later. The body is really good shape, very little rust, no rot. I have 3 tops, full, bikini and mesh bikini, the half cab curtain (nice for colder weather), and a duster (tonneau cover thing). I have a rear seat.

The Sami runs great, much more power than stock, it’ll go as fast as you want to go down the freeway, above 70 is scary, in my opinion, there is even more power in this motor if you can tune a Weber better than me.

Again, this is not a perfect Samurai, just really good start, if you’re looking for a perfect one, I’ve seen them on eBay, they are $20,000+. I wish you luck in your search.

Please contact me with any questions, or If you wou like to look at it. The Samurai is in Las Vegas, Nevada .

This vehicle is offered for sale in exchange for cash only, United States dollars. I’m not interested in anything else.
