1958 Studebaker Goldenhawk Additional Info:

Very rare 1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk with a Supercharged 289 Sweepstakes V8 backed with an automatic transmission.Recently a restored 1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk sold for $100,000 at an auction. Also 57-58 Studebakers were listed as up and coming cars on Jay Leno's Garage. This car has been in storage for 30 years. It does have a clear Nebraska title. I was able to get it to run by replacing the points, adding some gas to the carb and crossing the solenoid. It fired right up until it ran out of fuel in the bowl. It sounded good seemed to hit on all 8 cylinders. The Supercharger has no belt on it and appears to be missing part of the tensioner. The radiator is in the trunk. This car will need a complete restoration. It has a fair amount of rust in the outer floors, rockers, rear trunk floors, fenders and doors. 95% of the exterior trim is with the car. The interior is there but it typical 50+ year old shape. It as 1957 15" wheels, wheel covers and white wall tires (rears go flat after a few days) The brake system needs a complete overhaul. I did purchase a new master cylinder and wheel cylinders. Please only bid if you are serious! The reserve is low. Dont expect a car that you will be able to tinker with for few days and be cruising. it is going to need a lot of work.
I will be happy to answer any questions you may have to the best of my ability. 402-779-1814 Eric

I can put it on a lift so you can see everything. It is your responsibility to ask questions, inspect it or pay someone to inspect it for you. Don't bid it, get the car. Then complain I didn't know this or that!
