1980 Studebaker II -- Additional Info:

1980 Avanti II Red Exterior / Camel Interior 350ci V8 / TH350 Automatic Transmission VIDEO WITH LISTING Serial Number: RQB3108 Engine Number: 14016379 Exterior: - Please see the video along with the listing, as the car is covered in detail. Blemishes are all shown close up and under direct sunlight. The car was repainted five years ago and presents extremely well. Imperfections include some oxidation of the chrome window trim around the driver’s forward side window, some minor aging of the chrome front bumper, and a... couple paint chips scattered about. - Mag 500 wheels are in great shape, only showing a tiny bit of age. No curb rash or damage. Kumho tires are in close-to-new condition, and the DOT number reads Y0T7YA8U. - Yellow fog lights look great on the red car, and are controlled by a switch on the dash. All other lights and signals are functional as well. - Rear chrome bumper is like-new; all badging is excellent as well. - Glass is all clear and crack-free, as are light lenses. - Doors and trunk open and close nice and smoothly, with good panel fitment. - This car does have a moonroof. While the sunroof motor is good, the sunroof is outta whack and currently does not open. Interior: - Please defer to the photos and video, as the interior is shown in detail. Tan vinyl interior is in impressive shape. Seats both front and rear are free of any punctures, burst seams, or significant signs of wear. These seats do recline and fold forward. - Dash is in really nice shape. Minor aging by way of light scratches on the stainless cluster, but certainly nothing glaring. No cracks or damage on the dash top. - Gauges are all functional, including the analog clock. Odometer reads 72,897 miles and is functional and believed true, though we cannot verify its accuracy. Motorola AM/FM/Cassette radio powers on and lights up, but does not actually play music. We do not hear the speakers kick on, and the car does not have an antenna. Power windows are functional, as are wipers and all interior lights. Blower/fan/heat are functional. While this car did have factory air conditioning, the components have since been removed. Original A/C components are all in a box and will come with the car. - Door panels are in really nice shape, with no kicked-open markings or significant imperfections. Carpeting is nice throughout, with no fraying or fading. The car will also come with a set of tan floormats. Tan vinyl headliner is in good shape as well. Under the Hood / Underbody: - Detailed underbody photos are viewable in the listing. Underbody is solid and very much structurally sound, but isn’t quite as pretty as the top of the car. There’s a fair bit of surface rust, but no damage or active leaks. - Engine Number 14016379 denotes a 350ci Chevy V8 from between 1978-1985. We cannot be positive that it’s the original unit, but think it’s very likely, and it is the “correct” motor. - The car runs and drives very well. It starts up first turn, idles cool and steady, pulls hard through the gears, shifts smoothly and on-time, tracks straight, and brakes straight and effectively. This car does have power steering and front disc brakes. With any further questions, requests, or to discuss purchasing, please reach out to Jake at 773-273-8257.
