This is the only known example of this model 3R series truck. Total domestic production of all models was around 3900. this was the first year of the V8 and the curved windshields. The Eight was only available in the largest models. The truck was rebuilt about 4 odd years ago by me and had 61000 original miles. I am the second owner, came out of north western Nebrska. Rebuilt engine 30 over. runs extremely smooth, new clutch, brakes, water pump, starter, converted to 12 volts new wiring,. Runs cool all the time and will run the highway easily at 50-55mph. Has 1 ton axle from an 89 GMC. tined new glass and seals, less back window. My dog cracked the driver door window trying to get out,. Still works fine.Has working PTO which lifts the bed, Hydro pump is rebuilt.cylinders work fine. New sunpro guages which suck they are not accurate but let you know what you need to to operate safely.Just about every part of this truck has been touched. It is solid and can be driven anywhere. completed a 200 mile trip w/o issues.Has a new 8000lbs working winch. Perfect floors, only rust was in the bottom of the doors. Not a show truck but places at most studebaker meets.Clear title in my name, registered and insured. look the pics and ask any questions. You are welcome to inspect and drive the truck just let me know so we can get together. Sold as is where is. may be able to deliver for the cost of fuel. Selling as I have my Eye on another Truck. Has One Year Only 55 V8 hood ornament, know it is not right, but is very cool.

Forgot to mention, the truck is for sale locally, I might have to end early, if it reaches the reserve I will let it run. Has dual exhaust which was not available in 54, folks love to hear it run
