1965 Ford Shelby Cobra replicar. Kit produced by Mid-States Engineering noted for producing some of the finest Cobra kits. Professionally built in CA in 1989. Actually original mileage is unknown, but only 626 miles since major refit.
The car has the upgraded tubular steel chassis, Ford 9" rear end, and Mustang II front end.
Power is supplied by an original 1967 Ford FE 427 Side Oiler bored out to 450 cubic inches and blue-printed and professionally built by Rex Hutchinson Racing Engines in Sacramento, CA.
MSD electronic ignition, Ford 4-speed "top loader" transmission, high-performance hydraulic clutch, electronic fuel pump, Cobra LeMans valve covers and two Holley four barrel carbs.
Many recent upgrades in the last 3 years including, all new hoses, ignition wiring, high-performance front disc brakes/pads/rotors, electric cooling fan, new Trigo Cobra wheels, real axles, and more.
This beautiful dark blue Cobra with white racing stripe is a head turner and extremely powerful and fast. It is a driver, so has some nicks and scratches in the paint.
