Hello folks its that time again what we have here is a 1967 SHELBY COBRA by Unique motorsports in Gadsen Alabama one of the oldest cobra builders in exisistance today I bought the car two years ago and have loved every mile ive driven and from the photos you can see she has been lovingly cared for.From the top lets talk mechanical 402 jasper motor that has been balanced and blue printed with all of the best stuff,a high reving motor with tons of power and torque and was dyno tuned by a local ford expert at 419 horsepower its like an ocean of power and torque when the right foot goes down things happen very very fast it is not a novice drivers car repeat not a novice car next tranny 4 SPEED BUILT TOP LOADER NOT A DONOR TRANS FROM MUSTANG,clutch is a ceramic that is rated up to 500 hp,rearend jaguar independent rear with inboard disc brakes that give it a decent ride and handling second to none it has been recently serviced and works as designed,front suspension is adjustable coil overs with Baer disc Tires and wheels arenew and car comes with two sets one set is 16 inch and could be used for track tires if desired they are the originals and the tires have less than 300 miles on them I chose the 15 inchers because they just looked right on the car and tires are available.Next the body no cracks never any damage with one nick on the back that doesn't even show in pictures the paint is beautiful and shows like new.Interior seats where recovered in leather whichI condition every time she is washed they have just the right patina,stewart warner vintage gauges that work perfect and give the old school feeling,four point racing harness, halon auto fire system,charging system under dash for cell phone or device.She comes with a new conv top with side windows that are still in the box never used and not the cheap stuff,heater and defroster for the cool months there is nothing like taking an evening blast in the fall with a sweater on and the heater going and the roar of the side pipes everything just melts away as you blast down a back country road I have owned probably 5 or so Cobras from the inexpesive factory fives to the six figure CSX cars and this one by far is the most bang for the buck I added some pics of my current cars to give you and idea of what kinda car guy I am I speak the gear head language and love em all that's my problem I encourage you to call me so we can talk about the car I have every piece of paperwork since new and can provide pictures of if requested this is not your run of the mill kit car Unique has been building them longer than any other company and they get it Ive called several times to get advice and they always help just a good company to deal with.If you are in the market for a unique hot rod this is it you will be pleased for years to come im having a hard time parting with her anyhow call me id be happy to discuss the car in depth.
