Up for auction from The Mustang Ranch in Golden, Colorado. This 1968 Shelby GT 500 KR Fastback vin number 8T02R210904-03777 was meticulously underwent a 5 year restoration by Mike and Kurt Sargent in Phoenix Arizona. Due to the climate conditions down there the battery tray and passengers side apron was replace due to battery corrosion. The torque boxes, frame rails, floor pans, quarter panels and engine bay sheet metal are original to the car. This was an extremely clean shell to begin with because it was down there all of its life. Unfortunately the original 428 CJ was replaced with the later version of a 1969 428 SCJ. As you can see from the pictures and video this car is well sorted out, everything works. The car has about less than 5,000 miles on the rebuild. My client here in Colorado who currently owns the car drives it on the weekends and special occasions. One of only 129 with this special Yellow paint, air conditioning and 4 speed.Please call and ask as many questions as you like.
