1989 Saab 900 Additional Info:

1989 Saab 900s. A nice car. Great condition for it's old age. Starts on a dime every day. The vehicle drives strait on the road. The suspension is great.. it is still very nimble as it is driven. The power steering feels great. The tires are newer Bridgestone. The brakes and exhaust system are in nice shape. The engine sounds good. It has plenty of power. The vehicle smoothly goes up to speed. The clutch works nice. It feels correct as one shifts the 5 speed. There is no grinding in any gears. The engine and transmission seem great. The windows go up and down but the drivers side works slower as it raises up. I have not tested the cruise control to see if it works. The lights all work great. The Radio is an aftermarket that works great. The power antenna goes up and down correctly as the unit is turned on to listen to the stereo. The vehicle spent it's life in California. My Father had an issue with his left leg.. and can't drive it .. so we both reluctantly came up with the choice to sell it. The body seems to have the original paint and it is in nice shape for its age. There are many nicks that have been touched up over the years. There is a bigger mark just above where the hood safety release is pulled forward to open the hood. Some chipped paint in that spot. There are a couple of other little spots on the hood.. but overall it still looks very good. The right rear quarter panel needs a piece of moulding replaced as one can see..it is not there. The rest of the body has some nicks and a marks to the paint.. but all are fairly hard to notice. It's a 30 year old car and it looks great for it's age. Somebody out there might want to repaint it.. but as of today.. it just looks like a nice looking daily driver. The driver's seat has a quarter inch mark in the center of the bottom part.. otherwise..it is more worn than the other ones.. but still looks pretty good. The right front seat is in good shape.. as is the back seat. The entire interior is clean.. there is no sign there was a smoker in the vehicle. Sunroof is manual and opens and closes with no issues. The door panels are all in pretty nice condition.. and the headliner is in very nice shape except for a 1 inch cut into the fabric by the sunroof. for the most part.. the interior is still presentable. The central locking works fine with the key in the door. The trunk accepts the ignition key in it's lock and the button and key work perfectly. The air conditioning and heat work well. The cooling fan comes on when the air conditioning is turned on.. as it will engage when it is in traffic for a period of time. If anybody would love to take it for a nice long drive and get a better look at the car.. just call me. 440-759-9683. The windshield is the original saab windshield with no cracks or chips that I can find. It does have typical haze of wear and tear from it being on highways for all these years. The bumpers have some fade and scratches. The underneath is basically rust free. It looks very nice. The underneath of the engine area has oil seapage..and the engine would need to be degreased for a complete diagnosis of the reason for the oil on it.. Otherwise.. It runs very nice. It drives nice as well. I have driven it all week having zero problems. It is a true classic daily driver that has that old Saab dependability. Good Day.
