Beautiful 1973 Porsche 914 1.7L survivor/restoration in highly sought Marathon Blue Metallic.

An additional drive train restoration was completed in 2015 at a cost of nearly $6,000 including transmission rebuild, new clutch, new flywheel, new relay board, and a full service. Subsequent to drive train modifications, generous investment was made in the interior, which included: All new carpeting to refresh the cabin, new leather seats with Porsche vintage R80 Schottenmittelblau (Matisse blue Tartan X5 V9) Inserts and period correct Momo steering wheel with rare Porsche Horn Button assy (while our policy is to return units to all original condition the momo wheel is a preferred upgrade as the OEM wheel is considered too large – Original steering wheels are available instead however but the momo is simply more functional for moost drivers).

This 914 is also one of the first 914’s in North America with the new Porsche Classic navigation/radio installed at a cost of over $1300,00 bringing modern functionality to the car while maintaining a vintage/early OEM appearance. The 4x45watt unit has many modern functions including Navigation as well as ipod, usb, and blue tooth connections.(this too has become a preferred addition to vintage Porsches for many of our clients (a period correct OEM radio assy is available instead of the new Porsche Classic Nav Radio with a delay in delvery to reverse the modification) In the rear boot remains original trunk liner as well as the jack/took kit. The car runs and drives fantastic, and everything is fully functional.
