1980 Porsche 928 Euro Edition Additional Info:

928S Euro Edition. Equipped with the 300 hp aluminum V8. Has the original euro style headlights and the rear red fog lamp. The car is in good mechanical condition and the body is in very good condition. The original interior was the leather wrap option and over the years the leather has shrunk some and pulled loose form the dash and some side panels. The perforated seats cushions have also worn quite a bit. The rear seats and door panels are good. The car starts and runs well. It has quite an aggressive exhaust tone (almost sounds like a healthy small block chevrolet). The tires are very good. It is all original and some controls are in German and in SI units. The radio is not original. It has all the original tools and spare bulbs, first aid kit etc along with the original spare tire. The HVAC control unit fan speed switch is a little erratic. The CC does not set. The AC needs to be charged. If you are not familiar with the Euro edition the 300 hp makes a very big difference and the 5 speed gearbox is certainly designed for autobahn cruising. On balance, a good car, just needs attention to the interior and a little patience to solve the fan and CC problems. I drive it occasionally back and forth from the OBX to Norfolk with no issues. The euro VIN will have the insurance company and the DMV scratching their heads, but nothing that cannot be overcome. I have a clear North Carolina title. The car was imported in 1982 by a Dentist in New Hampshire. I am the second owner.
