1990 Porsche 911 Convertible Additional Info:

The Porsche 964 (1989-94) until recently has been lost in the shadow of the 993's - the last of the hand-built air cooled 911's. But now many people (including the $600,000 Singer recreations) recognize the 3.6 liter, 247HP 964 as the perfect balance between the old 2.2 liter, 153HP long hood models, and the last of the breed and further refined (maybe too refined?) 993's. Porsche 964s were infamous for oil leaks from around the cylinder base, in part because the original design did not include a cylinder head gasket. This car has been treated to a complete $20k engine/clutch rebuild 10k miles ago with conventional head gaskets installed. All told this Porsche has received over $45k in upgrades and service in the past 8 years!

The car has been fitted with turbo fenders to give it the correct America Roadster stance. The car is almost 30 years old of course, and there are items the new owner can address. The paint is starting to show its age with stone chips, small cracks and other issues. When the new top was installed, it was converted to manual operation. The car does have a theft history in California in 2001, where it was recovered 4 days later (after the insurance had paid out). This is your chance to purchase a wide body Porsche that you can actually drive, not just park in your garage! The custom Roadster badge is shown but not mounted.
