1992 Porsche 968 Additional Info:

Up for sale is my gorgeous guards red over tan 1992 Porsche968Coupe, 6 speed. The car is fresh off a complete professional detail with a light (single stage) paint correction. I cannot believe the way the single stage paint shines...it's amazing. In the last 100 miles I have taken care of every possible maintenance item I could think of including belt, water pump, new OEM shocks and struts, fluids, brake pads, brake rotors, rebuilt & refreshed calipers, stainless brake lines, converted and charged up A/C, etc. I don't have the benefit of a lot of the car's history so I figured I would address things that would even be remotely questionable. The car runs like a top, shifts flawlessly, and needs nothing. It's the nicest968I have ever seen by a long way. This was thevery first968Coupe in North America and was optioned and used as a Porsche Show/exhibition vehicle. The car has all the desired options including sport seats and LSD.
The car was listed for sale on Bring a Trailer recently - her is the link to that auction which has a lot more photos and some additional information about the car.

Per Jeff Coe (968Registry guru):
The car is the seventh coupe produced for the North American market. It has a build date of September of 1991 and has the early vehicle features such as the recessed hood badge and the larger, edged rear968emblem. Also, it has option code 740 indicating it did show and exhibition duty for PCNA. Even though this car is #7 it was the first NA968that actually made it to North America! #1- #6 were retained and never made it.
She has 73,8xx miles.
The wheels on there now are very clean German made 18” Veloce 3.6’s. They really do look awesome.
