1988 Porsche 911 M491 Wide Body Targa Additional Info:

1988 Turbo Look (M491) Targa G50. Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and original window sticker included. The Turbo Look takes the body and running gear fro the 911 turbo (suspension, brakes, etc.) but retains the standard 3.2 NA engine. Per the www.turbo-look.com website, there were a total of 213 M491 Targa's built for the US market (91 since 1987 with the G50 transmission).
I believe the car has had three owners. I purchased the car in August 2013 from the second owner who had the car for 18 years prior. At purchase, the car had 286k miles, and the engine had never been rebuilt. In May 2014 the car went to Mayo Performance in Euless Texas for a complete rebuild (top to bottom) with a total spend of $40k. Mileage now stands at 300k or about 14k miles since the complete rebuild. The body went to Stuarts Auto Body in Dallas for a full windows-out bare-metal respray ($20k) now in metallic black.
Other upgrades include upgraded AC usable in Texas Summer. Porsche classic radio/navigation with Diamond Audio speakers. GT3 leather seats. 17" Fuchs (remanufactured) and newer Bridgestone Potenza RE760 tires (275/40/17 front and 235-45-17 rear). Clear bra on the bumper, full hood, front fenders, mirrors, and rockers. New battery recently installed, Momo Prototipo steering wheel (original also included). No other original parts included.
Detailed receipts available for the complete engine rebuild (top to bottom including G50 transmission).Full bare metal respray us using period correct paint code Grauschwartz code 7A1
Car is in near-perfect condition and has been my daily driver for the past few years.
