The Porsche Speedster first appeared in 1954. It was an instant hit and attracted celebrities like James Dean and people from all over the world. It was an amazing roadster. It was dubbed "the bad boy." Today it is an automobile with attitude; something almost no one else owns. The most outstanding feature is the chopped wind screen standing 3.5 inches lower than a regular cabriolet.

This is a replica of a 1956 Porsche Speedster. It has a muscular hi-tech look. On this car the look is further enhanced with a removable hard boot with positioned headrests. Actually, you can create three separate appearances; boot top, soft top, or no top at all. Each one is absolutely stunning to look at. The convertible top is in very good condition. The front end is greatly enhanced with Super Oscar driving lights and wire mesh headlight covers. Performance tires give extra traction and add to its aggressive stance.

The interior has six white faced vintage gauges, white banjo spooked steering wheel, padded brow dash, and movable seats. The horn, wipers, and lights all work. The whole interior is in very good condition. The seats are well positioned and comfortable. The mirrors are rightly placed and visibility is good. There is plenty of room behind the seat for extra cargo, also the trunk has plenty of space for your overnight bags.

This is a dual carb car. The exhaust has a nice sounding rap as you shift through the gears designed to mimic the sound of the 1950s. Drive it at highway speeds. The suspension has been fortified increasing stability using adjustable coil over spring shocks. This model also has front disc brakes.

SHIPPING

In order to provide you with the best protection for your purchased vehicle, it is secured in our 20-car storage facility the same day as it is sold. We require a minimum of 24 hours to remove your vehicle from storage and prep for delivery. You may do this by direct contact Monday – Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Vehiclepick upcan only be made at the above listed times.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We require a $500 non-refundable deposit to be made within 24 hours of auction end and full payment within 7 days.

Reserve prices are not disclosed. You are welcome to make your best offer at any time by bidding that amount. On rare occasions, a vehicle is sold before the auction ends and we reserve that right. If and when we stop an auction, it will only be done after payment is made. At times, trades are considered; however, this is seldom done as our reserves are below market value.

We make no mileage claim on any vehicle 10 years old or older, even if the title states actual mileage. This complies with Michigan and Federal regulations. These vehicles are miles exempt; there is no exception.
