Description Hello and thank you for looking at the 1988 Black 928S4 Porsche I have for sale. I purchased it from a customer of ours about a year and a half ago. I intended to drive it, but I quite simply didn't have the time and have other projects that I am working on finishing. This car is fully serviced and in need of nothing excpet maybe some TLC in the detailing department and the interior. The paint is thin on the car and shows some areas of burn through. But it still looks nice unless you are looking for the imperfections. The really nice thing about this car is that it doesn't need work to drive it. You won't burn through money on maintenance. Just change the oil and watch the service intervals but all major service was performed and all large ticket items inspected. I would feel comfortable driving it accross the country. I have a fully packed binder of service history and information about the car.

Here are the good details about the car:
-Everything critical works.
-It has a fully replaced timing belt system which included a new German water pump, timing belt tension and idler rollers, and a rebuilt timing belt tensioner.
-It also oil pump seals and oring and front crankshaft main seal.
-It has recent drive belts.
-Tens of thousands of dollars in service records dating back to 1990.
-It has new thermostat with housing seal and orings and new coolant.
-It also has all tools and spare tire and jack included.
-It has the factory forged manhole 7x16 and 8X16 wheels that are chromed and in good condition with new BF Goodrich Comp 2 AS Tires.
-It is fully serviced with Redline Engine Oil and a Mahle Filter.
-It also has a resealed automatic transmission along with a Redline D4 ATF transmission fluid and filter service.
-It also has a rebuilt driveshaft, torque conveter bearings a new rear main seal and torque converter seal as well.
-It has a resealed transmission to reduce the number of leaks that older 928 automatic transmissions often exhibit.
-It has new redline GL5 gear oil for the differential.
-It has new OEM engine mounts.
-It has new oil pan gaskets installed and the rod bearings and thrust bearing were checked and found to be in good condition. 
-The front wheel bearings were recently repacked along with the front ball joints upper and lower being serviced.
-The driveshaft coupler was released and adjusted but no thrust load was observed.
-New fuel filter and fuel check valve along with numerous newly rebuilt fuel lines.
-It has a good functional AC system with recent compressor,
-It has a complete tune up with distributor cap, rotor, wires, and plugs, and engine air filter.
-It has a new Battery.
-Inspected and bled the brake system while turning the brake rotors and replacing the brake pads.
-Power steering fluid was changed to Redline D4 ATF along with a recent power steering hose and rack repair.
Upgrades:
-Car has upgraded exhaust with a Motorsport, Inc. crossover and has the original catalytic converter that is available as well.
-Car has an upgraded head cd player head unit.
-Car has recent hatch and hood struts that work perfectly.
Things it still needs:
-It could use a really nice detail and paint touch up work.
-It has a little scratches and paint imperfections.
-Replacing the quarter panel covers would really help this car look great as they are warped with shrunken leather.
I always recommend a PPI for customers to make sure that they are properly informed about the quality of the car. I am happy to arrange transport to any local shop. Please make sure to arrange such as service if you want an inspection prior to agreeing to buy the car. I pride myself on the work I perform. Its not a perfect car by any means, but it is a nice driver with potential. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car home to anywhere from Utah.
