1967 Porsche 912 Additional Info:

This was a running driving project always garage kept.Great running vw single port engine with amazing heat, nd great MPG.Freshsynthetic gear oil in the strong & quite 5 speed transmission.
The plan was for fresh correct SandBeigepaint over the winter. As my daughter and I gradually worked on the stripping the paint I continued to drive it on nice days.As we finished up for the day we would just rattle can some black primer over the worked on spots with plans coming soon to just spend a weekend at her professional body shop to get the 912 back to a lovely Sand Beige. Then a panic stop in a turn changed everything. The car went sideways in a ditch and did the damage I did my best to show in the pictures. (more located on photobucket message for link)
Do to the extent of work now needed I must cut my losses and let this go at areasonableprice in hopes that someone can save it.
( VERY LOW STARTING BID WITH NO RESERVE )
This vintage Porsche Green Gauge deserves a chance to live again and I am in too deep to finish it properly. The clear title has never left mypossession and should come back clean but I can notguaranteeit will remain that way.Usuallyantiquecars are not in the system far as salvage/totaled and the state of Arkansas has very lax rules with antique cars. But like I said noguarantee what your state might consider this car.
Starting price is what DC PorscheSalvage offered to me to purchase the car send a truck to my house toretrieveit.I would much rather see someone save it. But high bidder gets it.
Odometer does not work so miles are unknown. But with the originalwiper blades, urn signal relay, nd other signs of outstanding condition it is believed to have very low miles. Has original working dealer added Blaupunktcassetteradio

Please hit me up with questions or anyway I can help through this auction page.If that is not possible or too complicated and you are truly a serious bidder I am available by phone or text.It would require a message first and a strong feedback on your end to expect a phone response.Low or no feedback bidders will automatically be blocked.I will work with any shipping companies buyer sets up worldwide on my end as best I can.I will also be happy to keep the Porsche 912 in the heated storage with reasonable time up to 30 days free of charge while a transport company is set up. Provided we have acompleted transaction (paid in full) within the 7 days after auction ends.
Once again high bidder gets this car!
Thanks for the view & Good luck bidding!
This is the a slam dunk description :Body damage and signs of past body work in its past life. Very little rust discovered. Looks like body work was from past fender benders. As we chipped away body plastic about an 1/8 inch thick at the most we discovered just wrinkled metal. The car was a mechanically perfect driver with great heat all running lights, ipers, reaks, ires all in great working order. No rips in the seats and a perfect dash board. It was getting stripped and prepared for fresh paint this winter when it was involved in a accident. It slid off the road and landed in a ditch. Mostly the roof took the blow sideways. It was driven out to a tow truck and stills runs and stops great! Been stored in a heated shop and currently still is. It is available for your inspection or anyone else with prior notification. There is nowindshield or passengerdoor glass.I have the rear glass and brand new window rubber for the front & rear glass from Pelican parts.
