1983 Porsche 911 SC Coupe

Rebuilt Engine, Transmission, Suspension (see photos)

This was a salvage vehicle that has aWidebody conversion using factory turbo steel flares.

Engine is a rebuilt stock 3.0L motor with updated carrera tensioners etc (see parts sheets).

This is a very mechanically sound and well sorted 911.

Exterior: Gray
Interior: black (84 Carrera Seats)
No rust
If you are looking for a concourse vehicle, look else where. Paint is average and about 7/10. It is a looker from about 10 feet away. There are slight waves in the paint on the fender wells and various chips (mostly on the front-end) from normal wear and tear driving. This is not a concours-quality car, but looks great when washed up. Perfect for use as a daily or weekend/DE use.
Sunroof (fully functional)
H4 headlights

Air conditioning blows cold.

Sunroof headliner needs reattachment (included)
Power windows fully functional.Dash is in good normal shape. Good stock heat.
Drivetrain
Stock 3.0 engine has been professionally overhauled and runs strong. Was resealed and gone over around 70K miles (have paperwork). Carrera tensioners; stock 915 5-speed transmission, rebuilt. Shifts great with stock 915 transmission / shifter. You still need to be deliberate with shifts, like any 915; swepco fluids used throughout.
New Clutch and pressure plate, no slipping.
Suspension (all installed June 2011. New Bilsteins etc)
Turbo tie-rod Front strut brace etc etc.
This 911 has a ton of new and rebuilt parts installled. Partial list of all parts attached. Receipts for more than $17000 in labor/parts upgrades, from several sources including Pelican.

Excellent running / dependable car !!
