1971 Porsche 914 race car Additional Info:

For Sale 1971 914 rolling race car chassis and parts *Almost everything you need for completion minus an engine*
I am putting my personal 914 race car project for sale. We have been working on the chassis as parts for over 3 years. It was designed around a 2.5L 911 engine. Due to engine issues the project has been canceled. I was planning on racing/DE with my dad locally with the car.The chassis started out rust free. All the paint was removed to bare metal and primed and painted with a single stage paint. The chassis is very light and has FG front hood, rear deck with tail, flares, bumpers and rockers. The chassis was stitched welded and front, rear and engine mount stiffing kits used. The floor was dropped 2”. This chassis is PERFECT for a tall/bigger driver. Has a clean title.
The suspension was contracted thought Tarett Engineering and includes a custom set of JRZ 2 way fully adjustable coilovers, tarett mounts, reinforced trailing arms, Patrick MS front control arm mounts and rear trailing arm kit. Also the 914 has a Tarett front bladed sway bar that can be adjusted by a lever by the driver, first ever in a 914. Brakes are TRE mounted Boxster front and rear calipers that have been rebuilt along with new brake rotors. These brakes will fit under a 15” wheel. Steering rack rebuilt with 2.5 turns lock to lock.A tilton pedal set with 3 forward facing master cylinders is install. Bias adjuster, and reservoir is included. 901 side shift has been fully rebuilt with CMS bearing plates and a new wavetrac diff. The gearing is stock. Also included is a 901 core that can be rebuilt if wanted.A full list of parts that are included is available by request. Everything you see in the photos is included. Everything is the best of the best, no expenses spared. If you ever wanted to build an air cooled Porsche racecar this is your chance to save huge money and time. All the hard stuff has been done. All it really needs is an engine, clutch/flywheel, shifter rods and some small stuff. The project was designed by me with a lot of help from many very smart Porsche venders and people. I am a factory trained PORSCHE tech, own Mcilvain Motors and used to work at Patrick Motorsports for years. I am also the Chief driving instructor and tech chair for the AZ PCA region. Please email at scott@mcilvainmotors.com with any questions or more details.
The 914 is located in Phoenix AZ and can be inspected by appointment.
