1967 Porsche 912 Additional Info:

GORGEOUS RENOVATED 1967 PORSCH2 912 SWB
This car was stuck in a garage for thirty years before I picked it up and brought her back to life. The 912 comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche and is Numbers Matching all-around.
With a 4 cylinder engine but 911 body-style, the 912 bridged the gap between the 4 cylinder Porsche 356's and the 6 cylinder 911's. The 1967 Porsche 912--the same year, make, and model as this 912--was awarded Car and Driver's "Readers Choice" award for its class. That same year, a 1967 Porsche 912 won the European Rally Championship.
This particular Porsche 912 SWB has been lovingly renovated with updates you won't find anywhere else, including:
  • Brand new $10,000+ car audio system with wold-class components from Audiofrog, Audio Control, and Sony andgorgeous custom car audio installation by one of the best installers in the world.
  • Original Black Leatherette Upholstery with restored headrests.
  • Brand New 7" SMD Headlights (better than LED's).These are NOT conventional LED's but Phosphor based SMD using the latest technology. hey are not sensitive to changes in voltage as RPM increases and decreases and draw one fifth the current of a regular bulb or H4 halogen lamp! They produce no heat, operate at room temperature and have a working life of 24,000 hours.
  • Rebuilt Fuel Pump
  • A ton of electrical system problem-solving (which was the subject of the article about the car in the Porsche 356 Registry)
  • Brand New "Emerald Green" wrap with White accents
  • Brand New BF Goodrich white-wall tires
  • Numbers Matching all-around
Since I picked it up, it has been tuned by one of the highest regarded classic Porsche mechanics in the Northeast. In fact, he recently wrote an article about working on it for the Porsche 356 Registry Magazine. The amount of work that went into getting this 912 running reliably is too exhaustive to list, but I have full receiptsfrom all of the labor.
A restored 1967 Porsche 912 just sold at auction with Gooding & Co. for $114,400. This is your chance to get into a clean, great driving, Porsche of the same year and model with an concourse-ready audio system for significantly less!
If you're looking a great running Porsche 912 that turns heads everywhere it goes then this is it.
