A little about me......My name is Lauren and I have a friend who owns a junkyard. He's a good ol' boy as I say, and genuinelyhelps the world be a better place. He does this by doing what is needed to always get any job done mechanicallyfor the folks of the town. Alongside with his noble, trusty, and trustworthy right hand men. We live in a town in the mountains, and my dear friend got a call for some metal and junk that a family wanted to clear and recycle. The property was owned by their relative whom was of whicha trust fund child who lived a fast life and died young. He left a large mess in his path. The family of this trust fund child were unable to pay for my friends services, so they offered him this Porsche as payment.
My good ol friend knew that this 1983 Porsche 911 SC cabriolet sitting there in the yard had seen better days aesthetically, and he also knew that it is a timeless classic. It is indeed the first year of the convertible, and most certainly, a piece of history. It is the iconic time capsule. The LAST year of the SC line, and the first year of the cabriolet series. It is all original . As tired as it looks, it's still pristine to a person who wants to give it the love it needs.So he jumped in the driver seat, turned the key, and heard the roar of it's engine. As soon as he heard that car start, he gladly accepted.
It's a piece of history. Definitely a project car. It's going to need the interior done and there is a minor dent on the driver side rear panel. The convertible top is in great shape. It is a European model based on the vin. This is why it is not entered in the vin field. The actual vin is WPOZZZ91ZDS152141. It runs great! There is no rust on the body.
