This no reserve auction is for a 1964 356C which comes with its original engine and transmission both of which were professionally rebuilt to stock specs within the last 8 years with less than 3000 miles on them. The original numbers matching engine includes the original Zenith carburetors and Knecht air cleaners, and a nice stock muffler. The car NOW has a custom built 2110 cc air-cooled engine with dual 44mm. Weber carbs, making approximately 120+hp. The car also has custom air conditioning, and electronic ignition, making it a very unique 356. The air conditioning system is modeled after Porsche AC technical drawings. It works great. The AC system works with both engines, as does the electronic ignition. The paint, carpeting, and interior are in outstanding condition. The car has a new spare and a complete after-market tool kit. All the electrical and mechanical features are operational. The car is being sold with both engines. This is not a garage queen, but rather, a great driving, rust-free, 356. I am a retired doctor who is starting to thin out his car collection. The car has been babied with no expense spared. Photos do not give justice to this very nice driver’s 356.
