1969 Porsche 911 Coupe Additional Info:

This fine example of a Porsche 911S offered for sale is Chassis #119301457 Engine# 6392061. Trans# 7198612.

It was produced on July 21 1969 and was special ordered with the highly desirable black paint (code 6838) with amatching

black interior & tinted glass all around (as per Porsche COA).

This 911S has lived its entire life in Southern California…which is known for having the best examples of rust-free,well taken

care of, vintage Porsches in the world. It was a 3 owner car before its 2 year total restoration was begunin March of

2014. Its last owner retained ownership for over 30 years.

Starting with a solid Southern California rust-free 911S (that had been resprayed Porsche yellow in the mid 70’s) this911

retained it’s yellow paint for the past 3 decades, until it was decided that the car would undergo a completerotisserie

restoration startingin May of 2014.

The restoration started by thoroughly stripping the entire car down to bare steel on a rotisserie (see video). The body was

in phenomenal condition with zero rust (as you’d expect from a car that's spent it’s entire life in Southern California).

All appropriate parts needing powder-coating were sent off for a show-quality finish. Plating & anodizing were sent to the

same company that plates Singer's 911’s. The correct (’69 dated) shocks were sent to Koni North America for their 4

monthrestoration process. The entire brake system was sent to PMB in Utah, the premier 911S brake restorers,

and rebuilt better than new with correct anodizing/finish. Also new updated (better) pistons were added to the

calipers by PMB, making the stock brakes even better, while still maintaining their factory correct appearance.

Also ordered were a new master cylinder, brakes lines etc… Below is a much more detailed list of parts & restoration

steps that this 911S also underwent during its two and a half year restoration.

Starting the restoration, the engine was inspected & found to be in excellent condition. However, to match the fullrestoration

the car would soon be undergoing it was decided that the engines appearance would also be renewed & detailed tomatchthe

rest of the car (along with any other necessary tuning it would required to end up as a flawless running 911S). The

MFI pump & throttle bodies were handed off to Arron at Burnham Enterprises in Camarillo, Ca. world renown for

rebuilding the fuel injection systems for the 911S’s. Fuel injectors were also tested at Burnham & passed their tests

with flying colors. Once finished, the engine would be worthy of entering any concourse… as it already ran excellent

and has tons of power with that "monster" 911S sound.
