Up for auction is this very well preserved 1979 Pontiac Trans Am that runs and drives as good as it looks. Please be aware this is NOT an original Y84 optioned car but it has been restored to emulate the hugely popular Y84 look.

This gorgeous TA was originally sold new by Bush Incorporated in Lenoir, NC in April of 1979. In 2004 the car received a major restoration by a company based in Tennessee. Restoration items include; an upgraded 455 CID Pontiac motor with Vintage Air, new paint, stripes and decals, reupholstered seats, carpets, headliner and dash. It also received rebuilt (but original) instruments and a new metal finish dash bezel. Major suspension components have also been refurbished and a new rear-end was recently added.

Overall this car looks amazing inside and out. It also shows no signs of rust or previous accident history. If you’re in the market for a nice clean “driver”, this is the Trans Am for you.
