1969 Pontiac Firebird Additional Info:

I purchased this car from a gentleman in Kentucky back in 2000. It is a numbers matching car with PHS documentation. The former owner indicated that he had owned it since 1977 and had it repainted in 1982. My plan was to build a stock looking sleeper street car. I pulled the original motor, rear axle and drive shaft, and put them in storage for safe keeping. This is all included with the car.

First I will describe the car as it sits today. I think you will be impressed with the many high performance improvements that have been made to this car. Second I will go over the original mechanics of the car which will include ID numbers and date codes which show that this is also a low mileage, numbers matching, PHS documented Firebird.

These tires are the same diameter as the stock tires giving the car a factory appearance.

Additions to the above are a quick ratio steering box, Barry Grant steering wheel, recalibrated factory tachometer, and SuperPro triple gauges. This car is a blast to drive and with upgraded suspension and steering box it really hugs the road. Overall, the body is in great shape for its age however there is some surface rust on the inside bottom of the doors. This car has been stored in a humidity controlled environment since I have owned it.

Nodular Casting Date Code 313

This car also has the original T3 headlights, the original inflatable spare tire, the original AM radio and includes the stock steering wheel. Also included is a Techsoft Dustop custom cover.

So that's the story on this car. I hope you enjoyed reading the details and looking at the pictures. I will be sad to see it go but the car is a driver and needs to be driven. In the 15 years that I have owned it I drove it less than 1,400 miles. In fact, my records show that in the last 5 years I only drove it 74 miles. It has never been raced or abused. Also, there are no warranties expressed or implied.
