1980 Pontiac Trans Am T-Tops Additional Info:

I purchased this car as a beautiful driver quality cruiser a couple of years ago. I love to tinker and decided to disassemble and clean up some part of the car that just weren't up to the standard of other areas. Life got in the way and now I am moving out of state so she needs to go.
The car is currently partially disassembled with the interior out and the fenders, hood and nose off. The assembled photos are for reference as the car was before I disassembled. I can post whatever photos you need and welcome calls and can walk around the car via facetime as well.
I picked this car because it was a strong runner and didn't "need" anything to enjoy. I was especially interested in not investing in body or paint and this car was already done.
The previous owner had the body stripped to bare metal and repainted. I would classify it as a nice driver quality job but certainly not a show paint job. The engine is a really string running pontiac 350 with a mild cam, headers, rochester 4 barrel and edelbrock manifold. Ahead of my purchase the car received a new heater core and A/C evaporator, compressor, lines, condenser, dryer...everything that touches freon was installed new from Classic Air in Florida and worked very well before recent disassembly. Relays were added to assist the notoriously bad power windows. All new body bushings for a good ride. True dual exhaust.
I was interested in resealing the motor, giving the interior a refresh, and upgrading and refreshing the suspension. I did find a little rust in the drivers side floor which prompted me to purchase a new pan which has not yet been installed. I also purchased a complete center console kit, new rear shelf, all new steering components, including a new steering pump, a new steering wheel, some new carpet underlayment, and enough dynamat to do the whole car and trunk.
Honestly, the car ran great and aside from a small rear main seal leak was a super driver before I tore into it. A guy could have it back on the road very quickly if desired. I was toying with an LS swap but that's up to the new owner.
These cars are going nowhere but up in value. Great car to Enjoy and Great investment vehicle. I have a lot of photos from my disassembly and have kept every piece of hardware in indexed bags.
Previous owner shot this video right before I purchased the car:https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=_ADEdcSxEYc&feature=youtu.be
Please note he thought the car was a 400 but it's a 1973 350.
I am happy to assist with shipping but it will require a trailer and room to take the fenders and removed parts along for the ride.
I'm losing thousands on this deal and if I had the time to assemble I would but that's just not in the cards. Must be picked up before 11/8/2020 as I am leaving the state.
I can be contacted directly at 21091311 SIX TWO. My name is Brian.
