Hello, up for auction is my 1977 Special Edition Y82 4 speed Trans Am. I purchased this car locally from the original owner. In fact, when she saw it for the first time it was from the highway and on a trailer getting delivered to the dealership. She pulled into the dealership and bought it on the spot, right off the trailer. It was kept pretty original except at some point side pipes were installed. I had them removed and a factory style exhaust put in their place. The car has 45,778 original miles and climbing as I’m enjoying driving it this summer. The body is very solid everywhere I looked. Up close the paint has many imperfections from being as old as it is and the last owner spayed some type chip guard on the lower rocker areas of the car, but still looks decent for what it is, especially a few feet away. Under the hood appears to be all there and the interior still looks good with one hole in the carpet on the front passenger side and a crack in the console lid. Headliner and dash still looks nice. Car runs, drives and shifts fine in my opinion. Excellent car to restore or just drive and enjoy as is. Please look at the pictures closely as I think they give the best indication of the cars overall condition. I think the AC may need charged but windows, radio, wipers etc. work as they should. I have the PHS, the original window sticker and the original motor vehicle purchase contract. I'm only selling it because I got the chance to by my old Formula back and I could use the garage space.
