1964 Pontiac GTO Additional Info:

Given credit as the start of the muscle car era. John Delorean snuck it past top brass by creating the GTO as an option, not an actual model. This one is beautifully restored, #s matching motor, trans and rear. Documented with PHS documentation.
EXTERIOR: Presents itself beautifully. Great colors and stance. Original Yorktown blue color. The body is clean, I checked along the bottoms, no rust. It has a very glossy clear coat finish. Bumpers are rechromed, new mirrors and door handles. The stainless trim, grills and tailpanel are good original. Windshield looks like it's new. Weatherstrips and window seals were replaced including vent window seal. Has reproduction Silvertown redline tires, original hubcaps with spinners.
INTERIOR: The white interior looks great against the blue. The white upholstery, door panels, armrests, headliner and visors were replaced. The blue carpet and dash pad were replaced. Dash area is very clean, not abused. Has a wood grained deluxe 4 spoke wheel on a tilt column. Factory am radio, new glovebox liner. Original console. Dome, console and glovebox lights work.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has the correct # and properly dated 389 engine. Has a tri-power carbs set up. If your going to own an early GTO, the tri-power is a must. For one, everyone will ask if it has the tri-power under the hood and hearing those 3 carbs open up is awesome. The entire compartment is detailed up nice. Clean metal with tidy and smooth paint finishes. Correct chrome valve covers, Delco battery topper, spring clamp cables, hood insulation, GM upper hose, assembly line markings on the firewall etc. Has power steering and the hoses, rag joint look new. Master cylinder and brake line is new. The wiring harness was replaced.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very nice looking trunk compartment. All solid metal with a tidy coat of spatter finish paint. New rubber mat. Complete spare and jack assembly with the tire cover. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted nicely. New weatherstrip and decals.
UNDERSIDE: I was very pleasantly surprised looking under this car. It's all detailed up real nice. It does have very clean all painted semi gloss black. The front end is completely rebuilt, the components are detailed. New springs and shocks. New power steering system. Has ride and handling package which includes sway bars and boxed control arms. Bottom of the motor is spotless. The original, properly dated Muncie 4-speed looks fresh. Drive shaft is painted, u-joints replaced. Has posi rear, bolts are fresh on the rear end cover. Rear suspension is completely rebuilt with new bushings, springs and shocks. Brakes were redone, has optional metallic brake linings. E-brake system is complete, new hoses, lines and bleeders. Dual exhaust system has Flowmaster mufflers and the splitter tips. I could frame a picture of the underside for my office, it looks that good.
Not a $100,000 concourse car but it is really tidy, proper and pretty in and out, top to bottom. Runs and feels great. Investment grade car you can really enjoy!
