RARE 1987 Pontiac Firebird Formula 77,500 Miles Clean Title The Firebird your looking at here is a beautiful example of a clean and unmolested gen III F body. Its a very rare color combo with low mileage and its in magnificent condition. Drivetrain-The Formula is powered by a stock and strong running 5.0L 305 with a 4 barrel Quadrajet. It always starts up nice and easy with no hesitation. The carburetor is very responsive and will not give you any grief. The transmission and rear axle are tight and firm with crisp shifts and no slips. Driving down the road its very smooth and sure footed with its factory WS6 suspension package and 16 inch Formula wheels. The steering is nice and tight as well and it tracks nice and straight down the highway. This car has been run easy and well cared for. Rattles and creaks are not something you'll have to tolerate in this beautiful bird. Body and Cosmetics- Now we're getting to the good stuff. The current and original color to the car is 51U-Yellow. This particularly sought after and elusive color is extremely rare. Research shows they only produced a total of 300 of these wearing this yellow and chances are they're aren't too many left. As you can see the rear spoiler has a minor crack in it. Aside from that the exterior is straight, clean, and rust free!! The same can be said for the interior of the car. There is some minor wear on the driver seat along the side bolster. The rest of the interior looks and feels like new. Underneath it has very clean and solid floors. The same can be said for the firewall and quarter panels. Options and accessories- This Formula is equipped with power locks, windows, cruise control, WORKING AIR CONDITIONING, a fully functioning and accurate Rally gauge cluster as well as an AM/FM cassette deck which is original to the car.
