This is a very rare high performance vehicle that has plenty of power, shifts like new and handles like a go-cart. Perfectly balanced weight due to mid-engine placement. Pontiac was the first to offer a mid-engine American made sports car and unfortunately, due to design issues with the earlier models, a fear grew among prospective buyers resulting in a discontinuation of the model in 1988. All design issues have been corrected in this 1985 GT model.
My intentions were to keep this car forever, which is why I invested in all of the above. My mid-life crisis kicked in around the year 2000 which is when I purchased a brand new Toyota MR2 Spyder as a garage kept summer toy. Now my old life crisis has kicked in resulting in a recently purchased C5 Corvette convertible. I do not have room for 3 cars in my garage and the insurance on 3 vehicles is too much, therefore one of the cars has to go. The lucky new owner of this car will surely enjoy the driving experience that this car provides knowing that there is nothing to be done to the vehicle that has not already been done.
