1965 Pontiac Catalina Additional Info:

This auction is for my 1965 Pontiac Catalina Safari Station Wagon. This is NOT a show car. It's just a cool ride for someone who dares to be different. I have been taking this car to cruise-ins and car shows, but I also use it to haul lumber and lawnmowers. We call it the "Le Royale" because of the color scheme that we did in reference to the "Royal Pontiac"dealership. Paint is fair. It looks really good from about 10 ft. Has been super dependable. We drove it to the POCI Nats in Louisville last year. Drives very well.
Now for the good:* 389 4BBL Engine* Automatic Transmission* Power Steering and Brakes* Factory Eight Lug Wheels* New Coker Redline Radials* Factory Posi Rear* Runs and drives and stops well* Have a thick folder of receipts and paperwork for most of its life. Have manuals and window sticker (see pic)* Has been converted to H.E.I* Rear window goes up and down (most of the time)* Interior rear has been covered with durable truck bed lining. Has held up well.* All glass is good* A/C car, not hooked up* Colors are Tiger Gold and Satin Black with red pinstriping done by hand
Now the bad:* Interior is toast. Car is from Stockton California and must have satoutside for some time. Dashpad and seats will need to be redone to be nice. I did put new carpet in and replaced the door panels and hardware. New armrests. No headliner. Has a el-cheapo seat cover.* Like I said, paint is pretty good from a few feet away, but it does have some dings and scrapes. Look at pics closely.* The only problem I have seen is a small hole in floor pan on the rear passenger side. Otherwise, the floor pans look good.
I have done my best to describe this ride as accurately as possible. Remember, it is an old car with old car quirks. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. Personal inspections are encouraged.
The opening bid is the reserve. If you have the highest bid, you WILL buy the car, not just win the right to come look at it and decide if you want it. Please ask any questions BEFORE you bid.
Car does have a lien, so once the payment clears, the title will be released.
GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!
