1980 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Additional Info:

2800 hundred miles on this vehicle since restoration completed in 2013. I bought this car from Gateway Classic Cars in Detroit along with receipts and documentation of a 4-year frame-off restoration. Every panel was stripped to bare metal and all body panels, inner fenders, subframe, control arms, end links, and complete rear axle assembly were E-coated before paint and beautiful clear coat. The power plant is a fully rebuilt Pontiac 400 CID (not Oldsmobile) with Edelbrock intake, big Holly Carb, mild cam upgrade, Mr SID ignition, and aluminum headers with true x-pipe exhaust. New alternator, fuel pump, water pump, hoses and belts, brake master cylinder. Dual fan cooler in front of the radiator. The automatic transmission and rear end were also fully rebuilt. It runs like a cloc, sounds mean, and smokes the tires!

All new Hotchkis suspension, coils, brake lines, fuel lines, and Stoptech slotted and cross drilled 4 wheel disk brakes. 17-inch Year One snowflake wheels and tires. All new interior carpet, panels, seats, dash, headliner, and gauges with upgraded 160 MPH speedometer. Even the clock keeps perfect time. The review mirror has a back-up cam. All new glass and weather stripping. The Kenwood sound system with Rockport speakers and trunk mounted subwoofer will blow you away! All interior is lined with Dynamat for quite interior and superb sound.

During the last year, I added x-pel paint self-healing protection to the bottom half of the car (Warranty included) and replaced the power window motors and regulators. Although the paint was flawless, I treated it with clay bar and multiple coats of Zainos polish to achieve a beautiful deep and durable shine. I also added the gold special edition striping and sail panel decals and call it the “Red Bandit”.
