1955 Pontiac Star Chief Additional Info:

I've called her Maxine for the past 16 years, and she's been my pride and joy. She looks pretty good inside and out, has lap seat belts for 6, a powerful horn, and a very large trunk! As a semi-daily driver car, she has acquired some areas of rust, as well as some oxidation of the clear coat on the roof of the car. She has a rebuilt V8 engine w/30K miles and original transmission. A multi-disk CD changer in trunk. The brakes are the original drum breaks, and a bit squishy. Installation of new brakes or disk brakes by new owner would be a great idea. At her age, 63, she does have some creaking sounds here and there. The heater comes with a rebuilt core, but needs to be installed. Additional parts we've acquired will be included. Flywheel sticks on occasion, but just turn the key again and she starts right up. The spare tire needs replacing. Wide-striped white wall tires look best, but these tires' stripes have made due. This little beauty is being sold as-is with no warranties.
