Here for sale in Sunny and dry El Paso,Texas is this rare 1983 Pontiac Trans Am LG4 with a WY6 Special performance Package. This Trans Am has a 5 Speed Manual Transmission, 4 wheel disc brakes with posi trac, T-tops and a 4 barrel carburetor. I have the PHS Documentation for this car . This is a very solid car with no rust issues. This Trans Am has a ton of new parts, such as : New hood and deck lid shocks, New rear tires, New flywheel, New oil pump, New pan gasket, New rear main seal, New Hurst T handle, New A/C compressor (needs belt and freon) New dash pad cover and a new transmission mount in the box and fairly new gta wheels. This Trans Am is NOT a GTA. The GTA did not come out until 1987. This Trans Am was fitted with Hedders, True dual exhaust with Flowmaster Super 10 series mufflers that give this muscle car that aggressive sound, It has a Holley Race Electric fuel pump and an Edelbrock aluminum intake. This is a muscle car that is a little step above stock. The interior is in very presentable shape for its age. Most T-top cars have horrible interiors. This trans am has new bushings and a chrome anti-sway bar. It handles very nice and tight. It also has power windows and power locks. (a real luxury in 1983 ). I really enjoy this trans am simply because it is not fuel injected. Most third gen cars have fuel injection, and they are a pain to work on. This Trans Am has the older muscle car engine with the newer suspension technology that makes this Trans Am a blast to drive ! Please keep in mind that this car is NOT fully restored. If you are looking for a fully restored car, then this is NOT for you. You can find one on Ebay for $15,000.00 to $20,000.00 This is a running and driving Project that is selling for HALF the price ! This is a great car to restore and have fun driving it as you build it . This trans Am has a 5.0 305 that is standard bore that will need valve stem seals. This is extremely common on the 5.0 engine. Both engine and transmission are not rebuilt.The title has a remark of Rebuilt Salvage with loss unknown. All in all, this is a great musclecar that is quickly rising in value. Not many of these were built in this year. I wanted to upgrade the engine with a 350 and a mild cam,but I am restoring a 1972 Chevelle SS and i do not have enough room. So, my loss is your gain.
