1978 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Additional Info:

This extremely rare WS6 Trans Am survivor is close to being one of kind. She only has 6818+ miles on the odometer and has been garage keep her whole life.

As you can see from the attached original window sticker, this car has almost every factory option, from Air Conditioning and Acoustical Insulation to the coveted WS6 performance package. This package included an upgrade to the W72 engine, which increased the stock horsepower to 220. It also tuned up the suspension with stiffer springs and thicker stabilizers. King of the Road, “T/A 6.6” decals are on both sides of the shaker hood.

Both the Original window sticker and Pontiac Historical Society Documentation are included.

The paint, body, engine compartment, trunk, interior, undercarriage, etc… are as close to factory new condition as you can get for a 40 year old car. This is truly a time capsule.

The car has never been wrecked and the body is straight. There is one small dent on the passenger front fender from the previous owner.

The car is almost 100% original with the exception of these items which were replaced or maintained in 2015:

Replaced:

  • Gas tank, fuel pump, fuel lines
  • Hoses: Cooling system, power steering, heater
  • Water pump
  • Belts
  • Spark plugs
  • Brake lines and brake pads
  • 17 inch Gold Snowflake rims with new white letter BF Goodrich tires (The original Aluminum Snowflake rims along with original tires still intact are included in the sale)

Maintained

  • Bled brake system
  • Differential
  • Transmission
  • Steering
  • Suspension
  • Driveshaft
  • Air conditioning
